After saying that, he turned around and walked to an empty table next to him, sat down alone, and gestured for Aunt Li to bring him some food.
Although Tang Yuan didn't look in their direction again, his presence acted like an invisible barrier, plunging the table into a tense silence.

Lin Feng simply smiled and remained silent; it was best for him not to get involved in the sisters' "dispute."

"Yes, yes! I promise!" Tang Xiaorui nodded vigorously, a victorious smile spreading across her face. She released her grip on her sister's hand, but naturally moved to Lin Feng's other side.
The three of them then walked side by side, stepping on the crisscrossing shadows cast by the streetlights in the park, toward the broadcasting station located in a corner of the office building.

The microphone rested on the control panel, its metal casing reflecting a cool light from the light streaming in from the window.
Tang Xiaofu turned on the overhead light, walked straight to the control panel, and skillfully pressed several switches.
The device emitted a low hum, followed by more indicator lights illuminating.
Lin Feng stood quietly near the door, his gaze sweeping over the complex knobs and gauges.
Tang Xiaorui kept her promise to be "quiet". Like a curious cat, she stayed close to Lin Feng, her eyes wide open, looking around at this place that was also somewhat new to her.
